Welcome to The Table!
I don’t know about you, but I usually like to know exactly what I’m signing up for before I let on that I’m interested. Doubly so if it’s a church thing. The truth is that church, for most people, can carry what we often call baggage.
Maybe you love church. Maybe you used to love church but haven’t really gone or prayed in a long time. Maybe you’re reading this and thinking, “I’m not even religious... why exactly am I considering joining this new church?”
We created our weekly Welcome Party for two reasons:
To begin building a culture of slowing down, being real, and having fun before we launch.
To give people who are interested in what we’re doing a chance to experience for themselves what it feels like to be part of a church plant like ours.
Y’all, you don’t look like I do if you don’t love food, so our Welcome Parties are simple.
We meet at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We eat good food. I share a bit about our church, introduce new launch team members, and then we go to church together. God is moving in Lexington, and each week we’ll choose a different church so we can see what God is up to, steal any good ideas we see, and enjoy the process of building The Table from the ground up.

We love kids! We have a babysitter at each Welcome Party to make sure we’re prepared to safely care for our kiddos. When you RSVP, let us know how many kiddos to expect so we can be ready.

After you sign up, Brittany or I will reach out via text. Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

All people, regardless of their spiritual journey, are welcome at The Table. Being Real is a core part of our culture. Attending church with our launch team is not mandatory.

Not sure about Jesus? That’s okay. The Table is a place where you can Be Real. You can bring real questions, real hurts, and your real journey. As long as you’re comfortable hearing us talk about Jesus, you’re welcome at our Welcome Parties!

Can I let you in on a secret? Most of us are more than a little messed up.
Jesus himself said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor. Sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”
We’re a place that offers a life centered around Jesus, not a life centered around our ability to be “good enough.”

Our vision is a life centered around Jesus. While political issues may occasionally need to be addressed, we believe the Kingdom of God transcends and takes precedence over our 21st-century political beliefs.

No one likes showing up to something new! You’ll quickly find a place where people slow down, are real, and have fun. You’ll also find food (which always helps).
